It’s October 15, and that means the Kickstarter for my steampunk western/weird western short story collection, Guts and Gears: Tales of the Weird West, is live!
It starts today and goes for a month. Guts and Gears features twelve short stories, most of which appeared as exclusives for my Patreon earlier this year, all of which have gone through professional editing with some changes, and one of which is getting significantly expanded.
Check it out and back it at whatever level makes sense for you! The book is available in epub format (for Kindle and all e-readers), plus in paperback and hardcover. There will be signed copies, you can get your name in the acknowledgements, there’s a deck of cards you can add to it, and more!
If you haven’t seen the video yet, I think you’ll really enjoy it. This book is so close to being ready for publication, and I plan to release it within a month or two of Anna: Daughter of Creed early next year.

Weekly Bonuses
Oh yes! I’m part of a Kickstarter author sharing program. Each of us has chipped in a book that others can give away to Kickstarter backers.
I’ve picked four great books. Each week for the first four weeks of the campaign (technically it goes four weeks and two days), I’ll reveal one of these ebooks. When you back the campaign, you get all of the bonus books going forward. So, if you back Guts and Gears in the first week, you’ll get all four books. Anna, Daughter of Creed Progress
I’m having a lot of fun editing my upcoming novel, Anna: Daughter of Creed. Remember, this is the first in a spin-off series from The Adventures of Bodacious Creed trilogy, which includes Bodacious Creed: a Steampunk Zombie Western, Bodacious Creed and the Jade Lake, and Bodacious Creed and the San Francisco Syndicate. The Anna trilogy will be titled The Anna Lynn Chronicles.
I have the basics of the trilogy planned out and have even designed the covers. That fun detail gives me even more incentive to finish these books and get them out there so you can enjoy them.
