Steampunk Western Kickstarter Launching Soon! Video Included!
I have several things to share this week, but let’s start with the biggest news first…
Kickstarter Launching Soon!
I finished preparing the Kickstarter for my latest novel, Anna, Daughter of Creed!
That includes creating the video, which was tougher than past videos, in part because this one is so much more involved and uses new technology. Here’s the video! And, after you watch this, you can click the link under the next paragraph.
It’s in pre-launch, which means that you can sign up to get a notification on the launch day. Please head to this link and sign up!

I’d also appreciate some feedback. Besides signed print copies of the novel, as well as epub copies, what sort of rewards would you want to see? There will be an optional deck of Anna, Daughter of Creed playing cards. I may do a set of stickers. Any other ideas? Feel free to respond on the Substack page for this message.
I’m eager to finish up this novel, get it professionally edited (as I do with my novels), and get it into the world, and here’s your chance to be part of that! Get your name in the acknowledgements. Suggest ideas for minor characters (there will be a level for that!) and join me in welcoming this new novel into the world.
New Blog Post
I’ve written both standalone novels and now, a trilogy. Plus, Anna, Daughter of Creed, while the first in a new trilogy, is part of my overall Creedverse series.
This week’s blog covers the difference between writing series and standalone novels. Whether you’re a writer or a reader who likes to see how the sausage gets made, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this new post.

The Mystic Lands Tarot - My New DND-Based Deck
Yes, I’ve managed to make yet another deck of cards!
This part of the newsletter is toward the bottom, because most of you are interested in steampunk, westerns, writing, and science fiction. In addition to those things, I also love Dungeons and Dragons and play with a close-knit group of friends. I’m into a lot of geek-culture things.
I have several DND-based decks of cards for sale on Etsy, including two Decks of Many Things, a Deck of Many More Things, and a Tarokka Deck. They do well, too, bringing in a little extra money most weeks. And I just love that people are enjoying them.
Recently, I finished my latest DND-based deck, an actual Tarot deck I call The Mystic Lands Tarot. I’ve received my proof copy, and it’s gorgeous! I’ve ordered more from the professional card printing company, and when they arrive (probably this coming week) I’ll put them up for sale.
As a member of my newsletter, you get a preview! Here it is:

I also sell signed copies of my books, and Bodacious Creed playing card decks in my Etsy shop. Please check it out here:

My Books
Have you read my trilogy, The Adventures of Bodacious Creed, yet? If not, you can get the entire trilogy in ebook format for just $8.97! The first book, Bodacious Creed: a Steampunk Zombie Western, is just 99c. I’m considering raising the price of the first book, so now’s the time to get it! Click the image below.
Until next week!

This week, I'm swapping book mentions with six of my fellow authors! Please look over them all, and I hope you find something you'll enjoy.
