Anna - In Progress!
We're a little closer to the release of "Anna: Daughter of Creed!"
Hello everyone! Anna: Daughter of Creed is off to my editor for its second and probably final round of revisions.
What comes next? Well, I’ll check those revisions, then read through the novel completely to catch typos. To do this, I’ll have Microsoft Word read the entire book aloud, and I’ll listen to it and read along. I’ve found that this is the best way for me to catch, and fix, the majority of lingering issues.
Then, I’ll publish the book! For the Kickstarter backers, I’ll send out the ebook copies, and order the various print copies for all of you who ordered them, and I’ll design the deck of cards, and send those out, too.
This is bittersweet for me, as I’ve decided to retire from novel writing. Mostly, it will feel good to have this done and out in the world for you all to enjoy it.
I’ll share more news as things progress.
Something Magical
My son and I are having fun learning magic, and so far, we’ve done three gigs. We performed magic for a pre-wedding party and for two office Christmas parties.
We’ve also gotten to go to The Magic Castle in Los Angeles twice! A friend got us in the first time, and my parents, who won four tickets in a silent auction, took us the second, for my son, Clark’s, birthday. One of my goals over the next year or so is to audition to become a magician member.
Until next time,
Jonathan
If you haven’t read read The Adventures of Bodacious Creed yet, with Anna: Daughter of Creed coming soon, now’s a great time to get into these novels! My short story collection, Guts and Gears: Tales of the Weird West is also out. That Creedverse collection ties into the novels. You can get them all on Amzon.
